Phuket, Thailand [ Day 1 ]

Weather:
There are five of us in total for this Phuket trip and I wish we had more. Let me do some introduction to who we are: Judy is with long hair parting to the right, Cecilia is with shoulder length hair parting to the left, Dominick (my brother) is with short hair wearing bermudas and dearest is with curly short short hair wearing jeans. This is Judy's first overseas trip. She doesn't show that she is excited on the outside but I think on the inside she is. Enjoy!

This how the Budget Terminal looks like during Christmas. We have to check in 2 hour before the flight.
There's nothing much to do there, so just took some pictures before checking in the baggage.

After checking in the baggage, we sat around the terminal waiting to go into departure area.
So it's time to give out the money (Baht) and there's Judy counting and showing off her Baht.

Taking some pictures before moving into the gates.
The M&M bottles are so cute but they are an expensive item.

What are sweets without colors.
These irresistible colorful lollipops.

Walking around or chit chatting while waiting for boarding time.

While waiting, my and dearest took picture.
This was our first couple picture for the trip.

Walking towards our gate number six.

Cecilia and Judy wanted to take picture of this caucasian cause they said he look quite handsome.

This is our plane to Phuket. So small compared to others.
Well...that's budget airlines.

Caught Cecilia sleeping while taking some sky and island on the plane.

While walking along the street looking for dinner, we caught one of the dog with his name spray on his back.

There is alot of stall and restaurants selling seafood along the street but we are only looking for local thai food.
We walking almost to the end then we found a stall selling noodles and seafood omelette and another stall selling pork rice. And the interesting thing about the local stalls there is that they have many bowls of vegetables on the table to go with the food. All of them are free of charge except for the eggs. Now I shall show you the food.

This is the Seafood Omelette I'm talking about.
It may not look good but it's delicious.
Something different from the ones we ate in Singapore.

This one is Pathai from the same noodle stall.
The noodles is so "Q'. I think I can eat two plates of it.
Kind of craving for it now when I'm back in Singapore.

Pork rice pork rice. Hmmm Yum! Looks like chicken rice eh.
The meat is soft and the soup is boil using radish. Dearest ate almost two plates of it.
The chili not spicy enough though. I think my aunt's chili is still the spiciest.

The 串烧 stall which is a few steps away.
Since we just had our dinner, we order just three sticks and give it a try.
They have a variety of choices there.

Took the three sticks of 串烧 back to the hotel and eat it a while later.
We ordered hotdog, beef stick and some minced meat.
It may look like the same color but the taste is mouthwatering.

You must be wondering why I post this playing cards.
This playing cards cost us 190 Baht which is equivalent to S$8.26.
We are shock indeed at the price and that is one of the cheapest at their family mart(similar to 7-eleven).

* I decided that if I post all pictures during the thailand trip in one post it will be too long. So I split them into 4 different post according to date. You can ignore the timing as it is not accurate for the 4 posts. Cheers~
