My first DSLR has arrived...

My first DSLR that I've been waiting for has arrived yesterday. I'm oh so excited that I can't wait to get my hands on the camera but I still can't use it yet. As you know, new electronic gadgets always need a full 8 hours initial charge before using. Heh.

Anyway, I want to comment on bargaincity's excellent service. Yesterday, I found out that my camera's viewfinder have a black spot and the slot of the SD card is a little weird. I tried cleaning it but the spot doesn't come off so I believe it's not dust. Then I decided to give bargaincity a call about the camera.

It didn't take long for them to answer the phone (ain't like some take thousand years to answer). When they answer the phone, their voice sound very helpful and pleasant. When I told them about my problem with the camera, they are willing to come directly to my house to change me a new body. After all the troublesome thing, he told me that if I still have any problem within two weeks, they can still change a new set for me at no extra charges.

Great Dinner...

Weather:

Meet the girls and hx for dinner at Bugis's ministry of food. No pictures of the food was taken this time but the food was quite delicious. After dinner, we went to sim lim to have a look at some zoom lenses. Before we get to sim lim, hx stopped at OG as he wants to get himself another rubix's cube. So he went to OG with Lili, while me and pris was at guardian buying some strepsils. Guess what? Lili came out of OG with three plastic bags. And two of those bags were for pris and me. In it was this cute little eeyore (from winnie the pooh) as shown in the pictures below. Heh.

Sushi Party

Organised a sushi party at my place yesterday to celebrate yaosheng's and zal's ORD. *ORD Loh!* Attendance was excellent. Thank you all for attending to make this party an enjoyable one.

Happy 4 yrs and 5 mths anniversary!

Happy 4 years and 5 months anniversary darling!~ Though there won't be any celebrations tonight, I'm just as happy with you around. Lately, we have been discussing about HDB flats. The price of the houses are at peak right now. Went to my boyfriend's secondary schoolmate's house warming on sunday. She and her husband bought their Bukit Purmei 4 room flat for 330k excluding renovation and furnitures. Flat really cost a BOMB~ I regretted not starting to save early.

Repaying the cost of a HDB flat = Contribution a month X 12 months X 20 years of loan

A couple who owns a flat have to at least contribute 1k to housing, plus their utility bills etc. Aww man~ Now that's a big big responsibility. Ah! Should clear my other debts first before I should think about other things.

Yesterday I ordered Canon EOS 450D from BargainCity. I think I've got a good bargain but currently there is no stock. The stock will only arrive next month. Heh. Got a long wait...~

Lesson 2: Communication

Weather:

Communication is a big part of our life. We have to communicate with people every minute everyday. How much of communication is enough? Nobody knows. With or without communication, misunderstanding happens. Because we learn how to assume. It's difficult to master the technique of getting your message across the way you wanted.

Some of my thoughts:

- How does he/she knows that he/she is being loved?

Lesson 1: Respect

Weather:

All of a sudden, I just want to talk about "respect". First and foremost, in order for us to gain people's respect is to respect yourself. If you don't respect or hold yourself well, how else would people show you respect, right? One must know what are the DOs and DON'Ts in life. Lately, I haven't felt the respect I should be getting. It hurts on where the heart is.
