Slacky day

Weather:

Had a slacky day today. Morning drove dad for football at bishan park, then went vivo city to buy some bandages, sodium chloride and moisturiser for dearest. Brought him pillow as well cause his expensive goose feather pillows is so lousy. It gets super flat when you sleep on it. Wondering who invented that kind of stupid pillows. Keke.

After passing all those things, went bishan to get dad and drove home for lunch. Slightly later, me and brother discuss with dad how we want to revamp the room. Haha. But in the end, we decided just to change the wardrobe. There are too many pieces of furniture in my room to do any changes. Heh. Let's wait a few more months before we decide to change any more things. *bloop bloop*

Accompany dearest at his home

Weather:

Just came back from from zx's place. Keke. Assist him in changing his dressing for the stitched wounds. My knees went wobbly after I saw his wounds. It gets more wobbly when I see him wash his wounds. 痛痛痛~ Poor him. Can't really sleep well because of the pain. Yet he don't like to take painkillers as they are all panadols. Keke.

Oouch! There is still a little bleeding for the larger wound. Eee.

Sorry for the color of the pictures as my hands and legs were wobbly. Oops.

Though he is still not be able to walk, I still enjoy my day with him. Keke.

On Medical Leave

Weather:

On medical leave today. Sigh. Went to the doctor to check on my shoulder. This time round my shoulder blade muscle is being stressed. My right arm was numb the whole morning. Took some medicine but it doesn't seems to be much of help. Sigh. I have to wait til middle of next month before I can see my physiotherapist to tell her my shoulder problem. Hopefully the next few days is going to be fine. Going to rest now. No more sitting in front of the computer for long hours until monday.

Visiting dearest at SGH

Visited dearest in hospital after my work. When I walk towards him, it seems like something is wrong with his lips. Guess what happen? His lower lips was so swollen that is looks like taiwan sausages (台湾香肠). Poor him. *Sayang* Doctor told him that after his anesthetic, they tried putting some tube from his throat. Then all of a sudden, he just bite so hard that his lips bleed.

Hope dearest and recover fast so we could go out and have some fun. Love you.

Zx's knee operation

Zx is having he's knee operation right now. Wonder if he will be fine. He did call me in the morning before going into operation threater. Don't really have the mood to do anything right now. Heh.

A Long Long Day...

Awww. It started raining around the time when I was suppose to wake up for work. The weather was just so awesome to lay on the bed snoozing. I did overslept a little so I'm a little late for work today. Heh. Felt so sleepy and cold for the whole day.

In the evening, met up with dearest for dinner before his knee operation tomorrow. We decided to try vivo city's Akashi Japanese Restaurant. (Side track) It seems like I keep going to vivo city lately. The food is not bad but the price is quite high.

Expensive appetizer - Japanese Tomatoes $8

Swordfish Sashimi (10 slices) $25

After you finish the slices, they will fried the head and tails.

Salmon Sushi (2 pcs) $8

Clam Sushi (2 pcs) $8

The clam is also huge! Put the whole thing in your mouth and bite. The taste of the clams are so juicy. *Slurp!*

Tuna Belly Sushi (2 pcs) $28

This tuna belly sushi is really fat! It's GOOD!

Sea Urchin Sushi (2 pcs) $20

First time trying this, taste a little funny but not bad.

Tuna Sushi (2 pcs) $8

All sushi in a plate. All of the sushi have small and soft rice with huge portion of meat.

Shark's Fin Chawanmushi $12

The taste is really good. Quite funky mixed of ingredients.

Beef Noodles Soup $16 and Oyako Don $16

I would seriously recommend to eat the beef noodles soup. The noodles are special. Kind of slim like kuey tiao but not kuey tiao. Doesn't feel like udon. Haha. Not sure what is the name of the noodles. It's just SMOOTH~

After all the good food, it just makes my day so so much better. Keke. Food helps to relieve all sorts of stress. Yay!

BBQ @ East Coast Park

My Oh My! First time in my life I tried going for BBQ as early as 730am in the morning. We have a group of about 18 people. All of them are my boyfriend's mom's aunties and their family. Keke. All of the aunties are quite funny people. Packing all the stuffs into the lorry and east coast park there we go.

On our way there, I happen to ask a question.
Me: "Dear, Did you see the charcoal? The most important thing for the bbq?"
Zx: "I think it's somewhere in the lorry ba. Later check with my mom. Haha."

So as we arrived and unpack all the stuffs to the pit, we ask my zx's mom where is the charcoal. She said that the charcoal was in her car. Then we took it out to check and then all of us burst out into laughter cause my zx's dad misplace the actual charcoal with his work stuff that has the same packaging. Wahahaha. So we decided to drop by BBQ Wholesale at frankel ave to get some charcoal. Before that, we ask if there is anything else to buy and there we realised second funniest thing. There is only around 20 chicken wings for 18 people. Wahaha. I wonder which aunty was the one preparing the chicken. Wahaha.

After getting all the stuffs from BBQ Wholesale, we start fire for the pit as the aunties sat down on the mat playing bingo. Haha. Half way through, dark clouds came and a few mins later heavy downpour. Wahaha. Me, zx and little brother was all wet. Rain didn't spoil our day thou. After the rain, we still carry on our games and barbeque til 3pm in the afternoon. Keke. Enjoyed myself alot today.

So tired now. Heh heh. Going to zzz first. Later~

Mini 环岛追追追

Weather:

Woke up around 7am in the morning getting ready for another physiotherapy session. Drop my little brother off to school before heading off to SGH. On my way there, I realise that my therapy is at 915 instead of 815. Alamak. Woke up another hour earlier. Zzz . Today's workout has the longest duration of about 1hr 40mins. Almost fall asleep during the workout.

In the afternoon, me and zx met up with cecilia and her gang for Mini food 环岛追追追. Haha. Cecilia took sometime to plan for it. In all, we went three places to eat.

First Stop - Outram Temporary Market :
- Song Fish
- Fried Kai Lan
- Char Siew & Siew Yok (叉烧和烧肉)

- Hong Kong Tim Sum 香港点心 (虾饺，烧麦，叉烧包，猪场粉)

Second Stop - Maxwell Market

- Chicken Rice

- Fried Oyster Cake

Last Stop - Hong Lim Market

- Char Kuey Tiao

- A1 Curry Puffs (Sardine & Curry Flavours)

Kinda tired after all the eating and the walking, so I went home to take a nap and the rest went bugis to catch some movies before meeting them up at Geylang again in the evening.

At Geylang we ate 台湾豆浆油条. Eh. It's wasn't that great anymore. Standard was dropped except for the 油条was still quite crispy. After that, some of them wanted to eat DURIAN. Haha. So we went to eat some. There was a tourist couple from taiwan and they bought a $60 D24 Sultan Durian. They couldn't finish the durian as it was their first time trying, so the gang got the bargain for FREE. 赚到了~ Wahahaa.

I know this blog is quite long. Heh. The last part. I wasn't quite full after all those eating. So we met kelward and drove to Jalan Kayu [Thohirah Restaurant] for some prata that I'm craving for since yesterday I didn't get to eat much. The prata was much better and the thosai was BIG. Keke. I will go back there again if I have any prata craving. Heehee. Love their Mutton Curry too. SLURP~

Earpiece Found!!!

Found my earpiece. It was underneath my chair. Careless me. Lucky swee lin told me. Heehee!

Had a Bad Day!

Felt like I had a bad start of the day. Sigh. Morning have to drag myself up for work. When I reached school today, I realised that I lose my earpiece. Argh. Then later 大姑 sms me telling me that thailand will be having polling during december. Heh. All this while planning, and now have to tell the rest of the group to reconsider whether they sitll wanna proceed with the trip. Sigh. Hopefully everything will turn out fine in the end.

I felt like I'm in Philippines

Went to apple store at wheelock cause my little brother wants to get the new ipod. Many tourists were there to have a peek at the pods. I was looking out for the red nano but they told me that product red nano must be ordered online. Chey. So special. Thought I could take a look at the red see if it's nice. So brother bought black iPod classic. It was out of stock, so we had to wait til they gave us a call for collection. Wahaha. Hot stuff!~

While waiting for apple to call, we decide to visit 二姑 at lucky plaza. It was a wrong choice to walk towards lucky plaza. Instantly I felt like I was in Philippines. Almost every foot there is a philipno. Alamak. Looking at them makes me feel like I'm one of them. I don't think I will go orchard on a sunday anymore.

Great Saturday!

Just loaded up the pictures of what we ate at Shin Kushiya Vivo. It's quite pricey for the food but the quality makes up for it. Hmmm. Just nice it eases my craving for japanese food. *slurp!~* We ate sashimi salad, salmon ikura don, maguro ikura don, premium salmon, tuna, squid and prawn sushi, kushiyaki (串烧), oyako don, ton katsu curry don and lastly superb taste kuro goma heaven which is black sesame ice cream. The black sesame ice creams taste like cold 芝麻糊.

Then today late afternoon, me and zx went natas fair to lookout for trips to phuket. Hee. Can't really wait to travel in a group of bout 8 to 9 ppl. It seems that the air ticket is way too expensive for flying with tiger airways. Hopefully we in the end we will get cheaper tickets.

Later in the evening, both of us went to toa payoh lorong 5 to eat fried hokkien mee. Hmm.. Not only we order hokkien mee, still have bbq stingray, satay and chicken wings. Half way through our meal, we had a craving for bbq crab. Wahaha. So after all that makan, we still proceed to lorong 8 for ONE bbq crab and ordered beer to go with the crabbie. YUMS! The crab is quite nice as it is marinated with sea salt then bbq. The flavour of the crab is just so crab. Wahaha. Sure go back and eat after zx's leg recover.
