Retail Therapy

I think I badly need to do some shopping to erase all those stressful thoughts. I planned to make a trip down to Funan IT Mall after work tomorrow to check out Logitech keyboard and mice. The microsoft mice that I'm currently using isn't up to standard as the cursor jumps. I'm looking Logitech's Cordless Desktop MX 3200 Laser. I wonder how much it is going to cost me. Another Logitech item is the notebook mice. I definitely can't use trackpad to draw, so a mouse is a must. I do have one in mind though. It's Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebook. It's vista and mac capable but the price is a little steep at S$139. The price really make me consider my decision.

Alright. Moving on to the next item. I need to get myself another pair of working shoes as I was so unlucky that my shoe gave way while I was on my way to work and should count myself lucky that I'm going to the gym later so I have spare shoes. Phew~ Also also thought of getting myself another dress, a top and a pants.

A well planned day cannot perfect without a good dinner. So I decide to go Newton Circus to have my dinner and order all kinds of good food. I'm craving for so many things like Char Kuey Teow, Prawn Noodles, BBQ Stingray, Satay etc. I'm so going to fill myself with food.

Not feeling so well...

Ain't feeling so well today. Been to the doctor to get some medicine and some rest at home. Feeling quite wobbly the whole of today. Sigh. Wondering what the hell is happening to me. I just don't feel like talking too much. Going to get some rest again~

Steamboat (Part 2 - More preparation & More eating)

Today we are celebrating two January babies birthday, Yaosheng and Lili. Yaosheng's birthday falls on the 22th (sorry that it was belated) and Lili's birthday falls on the 30th (eh..it was early). They are so smart or maybe my motive was too obvious that they could guess that I hosting a party for them when I sms them regarding their availability on saturday. This time around I could get Yihan and his wife-to-be, Joannah (don't know if I spell her name right) but can't get Kelward cause it's too last minute to him.

As usual, we bought a lot of food. There's flower crab, prawns, sotong, fishballs, pork, pig's liver, chicken, egg tofu, golden mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, sea cucumber, fish maw, cabbage and cockles. This time around there's only me and brother doing all the preparations. Lili and Hx came slightly early. So while waiting for the others to arrive, we play a short while of MJ. Ooo...brother's hands kept feeling "itchy". Wahaha. It's been a while since my home was filled with so many people. Woot. The feeling is just so fun and exciting.

January Babies: Yaosheng and Lili

I also make two cards for the birthday babies. Hope they like it and enjoy themselves though it's a small party. I love the picture that all of us were in it. It's been quite a while since we have a picture all together. And something surprise us too. We didn't expect Yihan's wife-to-be, Joannah, to fit in so quickly. You go girl!~ Welcome to the gang.

Surprise Dearest & Steamboat (Part 1 - Preparation)

After work, met up with brother to do some grocery shopping at NTUC in preparation for tomorrow steamboat party at my place. I'm always so excited when am able to see so many ppl gather for a small event. Can't wait...Ooo!

Okay. Move on to dearest. He came to my house quite late today as he was studying. After he got his bath and everything else. I throw him his surprise! Bought him 4 items. One Ipod Classic, USB power adapter (like a said yesterday) and two t-shirts. Hope he does like it and uses it everyday. Love you very much! 加油! I know you can do well for your studies.

O' Levels Results

Weather:

O' Level results was release today at 2pm. Lili and me accompanied my brother to take his results. Luckily, I was be able to take half day off and there's no JAE duty cause I need to complete the other project. First time, I went into my brother's school hall. It reminds me of my time when I took my O' Level result too. Apparently, I did not do very well and I hope my brother does. He scored 21 pts for L1R4 (wasn't sure it call that nowadays). No failed subject and scored 1 A2. Smart boy! I'm so proud of him. I couldn't even get a A during my O's.

After taking his results, Lili brought us to a dessert cafe at The cannery, River Vally Road. We ordered quite a hand of items like a sandwich set with a soup and a cup of tea, 3 cakes, two cup of chocolates. (For pictures will upload soon..remember to come back)

After all the eating, lili drop us back our home. Then I decided to make a trip down to Wheelock to collect my Macbook Pro. My brother and I walk about 2 hours at Wheelock before we leave orchard. Are you wondering why 2 hours when there is nothing much to walk at Wheelock?

Here's the story. I was actually waiting in queue to collect my Macbook Pro that was under repair. While waiting I decided to get my Macbook Pro a sleeve so it could be protected. Then I saw one. It's called eSleeve. The texture is soft and smooth, it won't protect from rain though but it's stylish. After collection, I paid for the sleeves.

At last I got a sleeve. Yeah!

Then we walk to Adidas as my brother wants to look at shoe bag. He complained that Adidas shoe bag is too small for his pair of shoes. So I told him give Nike a look (even though he is a Adidas fan). Then, I saw Nike's sports bra and it reminds me that I need to get a new one. I spent sometime trying out and lastly make payment.

No sweat when I gym 3 times a week.

Just at that particular instant, I just thought of getting dearest a gift of encouragement since he is studying so hard all week long. We walk back to Epicentre to look at Ipod Classic. When I was about to make payment through my credit card, I realise that I don't have enough credits. So I need to walk to atm machine to withdraw money. I don't really withdraw money from that card so vaguely remember the PIN number. So when the machine asked for my Personal Identification Number I entered my IC number and it told me error. Then I realised they are asking for PIN number and not IC number. So duh!

Alright I talk too much today. So tired when I got home. Hope dearest would be happy with his surprise tomorrow. Phew~ What a day today.
