Steamboat @ Dearest's

Had another steamboat today at dearest's place. His mom decided that we should have a steamboat to countdown to the end of year 2007 and welcome the new year. We had a lot of seafood. Dearest's mom bought flower crabs, "尿尿" prawns, meatballs, special home-made meatballs, miniature fishballs, sea cucumber, chicken, pork, fish, golden mushrooms, tang-oh, chinese lettuce and pig's liver. Ooo...such wonderful dinner. After dinner we had chocolates for dessert. Dearest's sister, Jiaxin, bought the chocolate from Hong Kong. The chocolate is HUGE and it's from Meiji. Hmm. Yum. Love Meiji stuffs but can't take too much of it cause it's fattening.

It's still as tasty as ever but I wonder how long would it take to finish this whole thing.

Mini BPS gathering

Met up with Peixing, Sharon Lee, Yongsheng, Eugene and Boon Ann for dinner at Thomson Road for steamboat today. Peixing said she has craving for 麻辣 steamboat. Me and Boon Ann didn't eat the 麻辣 steamboat cause Boon Ann haven't recover from his cough and I'm afraid of 麻辣's spiciness. Lili is not feeling, so she didn't manage to join us.

We talk a lot about our secondary school days. During those days, we had alot of fun, laughter, anger, a bit of everything. Sharon still can't forget the day when she lost her wallet and all of us E3 trying to help her find like mad. Peixing can't forget that once Mdm Chen told her to "Roll" back to her seat. Boon Ann is Mr David Lee favourite "Monkey" student.

It's really been a long time since we last took pictures together.

After dinner, we wanted some ice cream for desserts.

At first we wanted to go ice kimo, but it's full house.

So we settled at Craving Thoughts Cafe just along the steamboat shop.

Eugene ordered latte with tiramisu.

Yongsheng, Peixing and me ordered waffle ice cream.

Sharon ordered rum and raisins. Boon Ann didn't want to eat cause he said he was still sick.

Too bad he didn't order anything. This dessert was my treat.

Nice furniture but still needs a little cushion to make it more comfortable.

Oh...both guys trying to act cute. Ah hem...pardon them. Lol.

At last Boon Ann and Peixing was having a chat and not a fight.

Post Christmas Party @ Lili's

We are not able to host a party on christmas day cause most of them are not free. This time around we didn't spend as much time preparing the food but more time on purchasing the food. Very fast it's going to be a new year. Time flys so fast. It is always a good time of the year to have a gathering with friends. I've enjoyed this gathering to the fullest. Lili, thank you for being the host for the gathering.

Had a short MJ session while the guys went out to get seafood. Started learning when I was at dearest's mum chalet. Playing with all those aunties. Ooo...and I paid for my lessons. Soon I think I will get hook onto MJ. Okay. I'll stop talking about MJ and let's look at pictures.

The guys went to pasir panjang to get some seafood.

After the guys came back with the seafood, they are hard working washing all the crabs.

And the girls? still MJ-ing in the living room.

This time the seafood shop don't have the scallop that I bought during my 21st birthday.

So the guys bought something new, the cockles. Ehh. It's a different breed from those we ate at the hawkers.

While guys are still washing, cousin reiko and me stop playing MJ and started fire.

How can we have barbeque without alcohols?

For me, I can do without it but sometimes a little is quite shiok.

It's really been a year since I last saw Faizal.

Aiyo, this Mr Policeman Guard (my bad) always not available or will be at bishan park.

Better meet us up more often and not one year once. Heh.

That's our food! Can't see all of it cause it's a small pit. I can tell you what we had.

Chicken wings, whole chicken, chicken thigh, crabs, satay, prawns, sotong, 3 small scallops, cockles,

otah, sweet corn, sweet potatoes, mushrooms etc.

The scallop on the left is the scallop that I'm talking about. I'm not sure why the box only have 3 small ones.

But all I can tell you about this scallop is it's DARN good!

Dearest seems to be sitting on a chair but he isn't. Lol.

Hx is always doing some funny stunt. Wonder if Lili knows it.

Yaosheng is our otah man for the day. Look at the whole pit of otahs.

Priscilla bought Reiko's present. Hx bought Kelly(absent)'s present.

Dearest bought Boon Ann's present. Boon Ann bought Kenneth Chia's present.

Kenneth bought Priscilla's present. Reiko bought Yaosheng's present.

Eunice (Kenneth's gf) bought Kelward's present. Brother bought Kelvin's present.

Kelward bought brother's present. I bought Lili's present.

Faizal bought me present but I didn't get to take picture with him. Sigh.

Priscilla got a cute salt and pepper container. Lili got a moo moo soft toy with 奶头.

I've got a fondue set. Reiko got a froggie bank and one green cup. Hx say reiko look like a frog. Lol.

Hx got a rubik's cube. Don't think he will finish that fast.

Brother got a lanyard. Kelvin got rip curl slippers. Boon Ann got a handphone holder plant.

Kenneth got a garden big head dog model.

Aiyo...so slow! Lili with the big headed dog. The head size can fight.

Yaosheng was the last one cause he have to fix the "in pieces" rubik's cube that is dismantle by dearest. Oops!And he got lots and lots of peanuts in different flavours.

Cousin don't know what to get for him, so she got the idea from his nickname "Peanut".

That's our christmas ice cream log cake done by little brother.

It's nice but not enough ice cream. I think you can do better next time.

Maybe we can also chip in more money to put Haagen Daz ice cream. Yummy!

It's really funny. We are so noisy at the background and yet he can sleep.
